About the trail
Following the channel that once supplied the São Jorge valley, this gentle, shaded out-and-back winds into one of the island's best-preserved pockets of laurel forest, ending at the Ribeiro Bonito spring. Its easy gradient makes it ideal for immersion in the laurisilva without a demanding climb.
