About the trail
A short, almost flat walk along the Levada da Serra do Faial from Ribeiro Frio to the Balcões viewpoint. The path winds through laurel forest before opening onto a wide balcony over the Ribeira da Metade valley, with clear-day views of Pico Ruivo and Pico do Arieiro.
